I rang the bell upfron to 7 straight before anyone came to my attention. After an attendant came out to service me, it was clear she had been in the back sleep... This happened again the following morning with another staff woman. While she was not sleep, she epxressed to me that she was the only person working the desk that day. The wifi was also rather slow.
We stayed at this Comfort Inn overnight while our car was repaired. This Inn was generally very good. The only thing I wish they would change may not affect others. We stayed up late making arrangements for the repair and didn't wake until 9:10am. I've been at some Inns which extend breakfast hours until 10 on Sundays and holidays. Not this one. So we didn't have breakfast on Labor Day morning. Too bad for us.
I have stayed at this hotel for several years and I have never been disappointed. The rooms are always comfortable and the breakfast is more than adequate. The location of this hotel is ideal, just off of the interstate and near a large gas station and several local restaurants.
Upon arrival into my room, I noticed how warm the room was despite the setting on the AC unit. I turned the temperature down and after 30 minutes, there was no change. In addition, the feet of the bed was higher than the head of the bed (pulling the tucked in sheets out didn't make a difference although Brett/Brent said it did). I requested a new room and was given one but despite my apology for the move, Brett/Brent never acknowledged the inconvenience to me! (He was professional). As soon as I opened the door to the other room, I was met with cool air! The bed was better but still not good for someone with a bad back...little support. The exercise room looked very nice but the Elliptical Trainer was rusted looking and shook so badly when used, it felt like one screw was holding it together. The treadmill worked fine. The room itself was large and well kept. The bathroom was adequate and was also clean. Other front desk employees were very helpful, friendly and polite.
Staff good (if at times difficult to find). But the tv reception is washed out. I thought analog tv was dead!! And now my biggest complaint....when was the last time you stayed at a hotel/motel that did NOT have ESPN?? Are you kidding me??? Stay here if you don't care about sports but, if you DO care, this is not the place for you.
